Car fire under investigation in Georgetown

Georgetown Police are investigating what caused a car fire on Thursday, November 21st, outside a local auto parts store. (Georgetown Fire Company) 

GEORGETOWN, Del. - Georgetown Police are investigating what caused a car fire on Thursday, Nov. 21, outside an auto parts store.

According to the Georgetown Fire Company, first responders arrived at the Advanced Auto Parts store at approximately 10:50 a.m. to find a car engulfed in flames in front of the building. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading further.

At this time, there is no word on any injuries.
