Delaware State Police will continue investigating what led to this massive engine fire in Seaford.
SEAFORD, Del.- According to the Blades Volunteer Fire Company, a massive fire sparked from the engine of a pickup truck on Sussex Highway near Ockels Road on Monday, Dec. 23, a little before 10 a.m.
Firefighters said they were alerted to the fire at 9:48 a.m. and quickly responded. Crews found the pickup truck with fire contained to the engine compartment. The flames were extinguished without injuries reported.
The scene was turned over to Delaware State Police for further investigation.
