(DEWEY BEACH, Del.)- A report of apparent gunshots at a popular restaurant/club is being investigated, Wednesday morning.
On June 1, 2016, at approximately 1:20 AM, officers from the Dewey Beach Police Department were patrolling Dagsworthy Street on the Bayside when they heard what appeared to be two gunshots fired in the North Beach Restaurant parking lot.
The officers responded to the scene and noticed a large disorderly crowd with several people fighting, police said. The officers were able to disperse the crowd with assistance from the Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, Bethany Beach and Delaware State Police.
The incident is currently under investigation and no suspects have been taken into custody at this time.
