(Wilmington, De) The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office is currently investigating last night's fire in Wilmington, Delaware that destroyed a home built in 1871. The Mill Creek Fire Company responded to the 1400 block of Milltown Road near Limestone Road shortly after 10:00 pm for 9-1-1 calls reporting a house on fire. Firefighters were confronted with flames consuming a dwelling. Fire Fighters from Elsmere, Minquas, Aetna (Newark) and Hockessin Fire Companies were also dispatched. Over 70 firefighters battled the blaze. No injures were reported and the scene was cleared at 3:30 AM.
