Salisbury Police Arrest Man After Shots Fired

(SALISBURY, Md.)- An arrest has been made after the Salisbury Police investigated shots that were fired on the 300 Block of Marshall Street, Thursday.

Corey Lamont Curtis Sr. was arrested after investigation by Detectives revealed that there was a confrontation that happened between kids as they exited their school bus. Curtis was a parent of a child who became involved in the fight. He then grabbed his loaded shotgun from his home and fired a single shot into the air and went back into his home.

Police say, Curtis had exited his residence and fired a single shot from a shotgun, into the air and fled into his residence on Marshall Street.

No injuries were reported. A search and seizure warrant was obtained and served at the residence where the shotgun was seized.

Curtis was released to the Wicomico County Detention Center. He is charged with Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct, and Discharging a Firearm in city limits.
