Police said they responded around 11:13 a.m. to the 200 block of Valley Drive in Kent County after receiving a report of shots fired.

MILFORD, Del. - A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times late Thursday morning in Milford, according to the Milford Police Department.

Police said they responded around 11:13 a.m. to the 200 block of Valley Drive in Kent County after receiving a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found the man with several gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators have not released the identity of the man or any information about who may have been involved in the shooting. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
