Bill Collick Finally Retires

(SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.)- Legendary Coach Bill Collick has been around football for four decades and now he is calling it a career. His last game was on Friday night as his Cape Vikings took on the Sussex Tech Ravens. It was extra special because Coach Bill Collick is retiring after eight years at the school.

"As this thing called football I have always been overjoyed about the opportunity to be involved and entrusted with peoples kids," said Coach Collick.

After at least 40 years coaching at Sussex Tech, Delaware University,and Cape Henlopen.Coach Collick said he is grateful for his opportunities.

"We got some things done with our time and I think we have been at some programs that were down and took them over and I think we left every one of those programs better than we found it," said Coach Collick

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY

Before his eight seasons at Cape, the program was losing and dealing with a scandal.

With his positive attitude at the school, his players started always doing their best.

Coach Collick has been valuable lessons to his players.

"Your ability to get it figured out and compete when it is tough and I think that is the real answer," said Coach Collick.
