A special fundraiser will take place at Schellville on Saturday, September 14th, to support the wife and two young children of Ryan “Red” Ennis, who passed away this June after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Ryan was a beloved member of the community, remembered for his kindness, positivity, and strength. His impact was felt across Delaware, and in recognition of his spirit, the State officially declared his birthday, August 23rd, as Random Acts of Kindness Day. The upcoming event will bring neighbors, friends, and supporters together to celebrate Ryan’s life while helping provide support for his young family. Organizers are encouraging the community to attend, spread the word, and honor Ryan’s legacy by showing the same generosity and compassion he inspired in others.
