DSP Homicide Unit Arrest Three in Port Mahon Murder

Dover, DE- Delaware State Police Homicide Unit detectives have arrested three subjects in connection with the Port Mahon murder that occurred on March 30, 2016.

Daiquan T. Bordley, 22 of Dover, Zhyhee Y. Harmon, 22 of Dover, and Chelsea Braunskill, 19 of Camden-Wyoming, were all charged by detectives with Murder 1st, Robbery 1st, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy 2nd. The three were remanded into custody of the Delaware Department of Corrections without bail upon their initial arraignments through the Justice of the Peace.

The investigation revealed that Chelsea Braunskill accompanied Dontray Hendricks to the Port Mahon fishing pier where they were allegedly going to smoke marijuana. Once there, three males confronted them from behind and a physical altercation ensued between Hendricks and one of the subjects identified as Daiquan Bordley. Bordley then shot Hendricks in the torso and left him on the pier where he succumbed to his wound. The three males then fled the area in Bordley's vehicle. Braunskill, who knew about the plan to rob Hendricks prior to their arrival at the pier, then fled the scene in Hendrick's vehicle.

Troopers were called to the fishing pier at approximately 12:39 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive male. Troopers arrived and located the man who was later identified as Dontray Hendricks, 24 of Dover, and subsequently pronounced dead by Kent County Paramedics. Delaware State Police Homicide Unit detectives were then contacted and responded to the scene in order to assume the investigation.

The body of Dontray Hendricks was then turned over to the Division of Forensic Sciences where an autopsy determined that his manner of death was a homicide caused by being shot.

Through thorough investigative means, detectives were able to identify and link three of the four subjects involved in the murder of Dontray Hendricks. Chelsea Braunskill turned herself into detectives on April 26, 2016 after learning of the warrant for her arrest. Daiquan Bordley was taken into custody without incident on April 29, 2016 by troopers in the area of Chestnut Street in Smyrna. Zhyhee Harmon was arrested by detectives without incident in the neighborhood of Capitol Green in Dover this morning, Wednesday May 4, 2016.
