(LEWES, Del.) - First State Compassion Center (FSCC) officially opened its new licensed medical cannabis facility in Lewes Friday, May 26th.

FSCC, which operates Delaware's first licensed medical cannabis facility in Wilmington, provides a professional atmosphere for certified patients to learn about and obtain medical cannabis in a comfortable and secure setting. The facility offers private patient rooms, including a very accessible floor plan for people with access and functional needs. Upon arrival, new patients will be greeted for registration and orientation in the waiting area, then guided through FSCC's extensive product offerings by a knowledgeable, experienced patient advisor.

Conveniently located just off route 9 at 12000 Old Vine Boulevard, in the Vineyards, with easy access and parking for patients, the dispensary will be open 6 days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The facility dispensary will be closed on Sundays. FSCC's website details hours, product offerings, events and easy ways to provide feedback and ask questions.

FSCC South brings a fresh, modern aesthetic that blends rich, natural materials to create spaces of warmth and harmony. The 4,000 square foot center is characterized by modern industrial design elements including a stained concrete floor, contemporary stone walls, and wood and glass displays with ample space for patient privacy.

FSCC President and decorated retired Delaware State Trooper Mark Lally stated, "Our foremost goal is the care we take of our patients, and that includes having the best medicine and the most caring staff. We built our new space focusing on the patient experience, aiming to create a modern, comfortable feel and an environment that enhances patients' comfort while they safely explore products for their care."
