(Princess Anne, Md) - A former Princess Anne Town commission has been sentenced on extortion charges.
Lionel Frederick was convicted of extortion in November 2016.
He was sentenced Monday January 9, 2017 to six months in jail for the extortion attempt of another town officials.
Frederick was elected in 2014, and had said if he was paid $5,000 he would convince another person no to run for the seat held by Dennis Williams.
