SALISBURY, Md.- The event came to be during Mothers' Day last year when COVID-19 hit. Members of the church wanted to brighten the day for moms by giving them a sweet treat.
One thousand Cinnabons were ready to be handed out at Regal Cinemas. People were able to grab some extra for family or friends that could not make the drive.
Lead Pastor Drew Fryder says lifting people up is what the church always strives to do.
"At LiFT Church, we are about three things," Freyer said. "He lifts. I lift. We lift. We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus just lifting people. No matter where you are in life, the Lord loves you and so we just want to give you a little lift today. Great opportunity to bless moms."
LiFT Church holds services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays at Regal that can be attended in-person or online.
