(Dover, Del) - A Greenwood man is facing numerous charges after he climbed a chain link fence at the Dover International Speedway Sunday afternoon June 4, 2017.
According to Dover Police, just before 5 PM on Sunday afternoon, 43-year-old John Infanti climbed the catch fence, in turn four of the Monster Mile while the race was still in progress. Private security (CSC-Contemporary Services Corporation), contracted by Dover Speedway, were able to get Infanti to come down from the fence. He was then taken into custody by Dover police officers. While being taken into custody, Infanti refused to comply with officer's commands, kicking one in the knee during the process. Infanti was charged with second-degree trespassing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest with force, and offensive touching of a law enforcement officer.
