Milton Community Foundation Helping Struggling Families

MILTON, Del - The

Milton Community Foundation

is heading a fund raising drive to help families impacted financially by the COVID-19 shutdown. The Foundation has established a GoFundMe campaign. The goal is raise $10,000. "We know a lot of restaurant workers who have been laid off, a lot of independent contractors, and  musicians are all on furlough right now," Mary Knight with the Milton Community Foundation said.  The Foundation has been reaching out to different leaders and groups in Milton to help identify families struggling with basic needs.  The money raised by this drive will provide a way for these families to get food. "They are getting
