Mountaire Farms Gives Employees Back to School Supplies

(SELBYVILLE, Del.) - Mountaire is helping kids get ready to go back to school. All employees are getting a backpack with supplies for their kids. Extra backpacks are being packed for kids in the community.

"Expenses going back to school, as you know, can get expensive this time of year" Sean McKeon tells WRDE. McKeon is the Director of Communications and Community Relations at Mountaire.

"There are hardships, you know, this helps them to not spend their paycheck when it could be spent on other things" says Chris Rodriguez, employee relations manager at Mountaire Farms in Selbyville.

"A great gesture to say thank to our employees" says Travis Tirrell as he's filling backpacks. "Day in and day out our employees come in and work hard for us."
