Ana Sofía joined the CoastTV team as a bilingual reporter in September 2022, focusing on stories from Delmarva's Hispanic community. She earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from American University, with double minors in marketing and leadership and management.
During college, Ana Sofía interned at Telemundo 44 in Washington, D.C., where her passion for journalism grew. After graduation, she started at NBC 4 as a production assistant and later became an assignment editor for weekend nights.
Ana Sofía also reports for CoastTV's sister station, Telemundo Delmarva, where she not only reports but also produces and presents daily news updates.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Ana Sofía is excited to live near the beach on Delmarva. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family in her free time.
