We Salute Leon T. Baker. Leon was a distinguished World War II veteran who played a crucial role in five major battle campaigns, including the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. His bravery in combat, where he was wounded, exemplifies the courage and sacrifice of our military heroes. After the war, Leon, alongside his brother Vernon, channeled his industrious spirit into co-founding Baker’s Hardware, contributing to his community in a new, meaningful way. We honor Leon T.
