Osprey in Dewey Beach
According to the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, there are more than 90 active osprey nests in Sussex County. Ospreys primarily feed on fish, making coastal areas like Dewey Beach an ideal habitat.

Crews with Costello Construction showed up to find their crane had a new tenant an osprey nest perched right on top, catching workers a bit off guard. The company is letting the birds be through nesting season, which runs from March through September.
