CHURCH HILL, Md.- The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is investigating a case of mail fraud after a woman found her mail was sent to a stranger.
On Wednesday at 2:47 p.m., deputies were called to the Church Hill Post Office on 588 Main St. after a woman reported her personal mail being forwarded to a recently opened PO box by another person.
According to investigators, the woman says she made the discovery when she came to the post office to pick up her mail.
Local deputies as well as the post office have launched investigations into the matter.
