(REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.)- We are just a few weeks away from when thousands of people come to our beaches for their vacation.
The Big Fish Restaurant Group held a job fair at the Crab House in Rehoboth Beach. Managers from their restaurants are looking to add more employees for those busy summer months.
"I came out here today to find a really good job at some great restaurants," said Kelsey Evancho, Lewes resident. "They have good food and good service so I'd really like to be a part of the team."
According to the US Department of Labor, employment increased by 126,000 in March, but it's the first time that number dipped below 200,000 since February, 2014.
Many of the positions the restaurants are looking to hire require experience but there are entry-level positions available.
"Our host positions, if you have never worked in a restaurant before," said Brooke Bennett, Assistant General Manager, Big Fish. "It's definitely something you can grow in."
