REHOBOTH BEACH, DE — On Sunday, the Rehoboth Beach Animal Hospital organized a Customed Dog Parade Contest along the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk. The event returned, after last year the march was was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families gathered along Dune Nature Park with their Sea Witch monsters, which kicked off at 1:00 p.m.
"She's dressed up as a mermaid, haha, there you go René! Good girl!" Pam Bergmann, a participant, said.
Activities at festival also included: live music at the bandstand, hair braiding for children, hot food, and the sale of Halloween cookies & candy.
The 31st annual Sea Witch Festival was a three-day long weekend event which concludes on Halloween Night, which brings in nearly 100,000 people each year.
