Smoker's BBQ Pit in Ocean City Maryland is reopening it's doors. The restaurant has been shutdown for ten months after a freak accident where a lightening strike led to a fire inside the building.

The restaurant on Stephen Decatur Highway shared that "a massive fire" during storms Monday night and Tuesday morning destroyed its inside and part of a side building.

Families across Delmarva will head outdoors to gather for barbecues and fireworks over Memorial Day weekend. The Maryland State Fire Marshal reminds people that increased outside activities can also result in an increase of fire risks.
