The state of Maryland will allow bicycles on sidewalks starting Oct. 1, but Ocean City officials plan to maintain local restrictions in designated areas.

The Delaware Department of Transportation and the City of Milford are hosting a public meeting to discuss upcoming bicycle and pedestrian projects. City officials say locals will be able to learn about plans for improvements, including the Front Street Pathway and the Route 113 Pathway.
