Survivors of a ferry disaster off the coast of northern Cyprus in which at least eight people died have described the moments of terror as they scrambled to escape the sinking vessel. The passengers spoke Monday as rescue teams searched for 20 people missing since the ship carrying 267 passengers and crew capsized after leaving Kyrenia, a port in breakaway northern Cyprus, for Turkey on Sunday afternoon. Ayten Bicer described how her 12-year-old daughter slipped from her grasp and is now missing. Nine people have been taken into custody.
