The Biden-Harris Administration has approved $39 billion in federal student loan forgiveness for 804,000 borrowers, aimed at alleviating the burden of student loan dept. Delaware will grant $113 million in loan forgiveness to 2,430 borrowers as part of the income-driven repayment forgiveness plan.

Under the plan, borrowers that make under $125,000 or couples that file taxes together that make under $250,000 will be eligible to be forgiven of $10,000 for federal loans. That can be increased to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients.
