The fast-changing war between Israel and Iran, which the U.S. recently inserted itself in by targeting Iran’s nuclear sites, has caused a mix of emotions among many in the Iranian diaspora in America. It has also showcased differences among some in the diverse group as they contend with the war and their country’s future. Especially for those with relatives in Iran, it has been an intense time. A fragile ceasefire appears to be holding.
