On Monday, members of county government were able to address concerns and clarify unclear parts of its written proposal.

There is an underground ocean outfall pipe that pumps wastewater from treatment plants into the ocean off of Deauville Beach. Sussex County wants to pump more wastewater through the pipe and pay the city to do it.

Rehoboth Beach Commissioners are set to hold a special meeting with Sussex County officials at 9:00 a.m. Thursday to discuss unused waste load capacity on the city's ocean outfall and hear community feedback.
