Russia has launched over 500 drones and two dozen missiles at Ukraine, targeting civilian infrastructure, especially energy facilities. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports these attacks mainly hit western and central Ukraine, injuring at least five people. Despite U.S. President Donald Trump's attempts to broker peace, Russian assaults continue. Zelenskyy has accepted Trump's proposals for a ceasefire, but the Kremlin objects. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin is meeting with leaders in China, North Korea and India, who Washington says are supporting Russia's war effort. Zelenskyy is urging tougher sanctions on Russia and seeking more military aid from European allies.
