Kevin Seefried of Laurel, who was known for carrying a confederate flag during the Jan. 6 capitol riot in 2021, has been granted early release from prison, according to court documents.
Seefried wipe away tears throughout the sentencing, especially at the mention of his son. His lawyers said Seefried was "caught up in the moment" when he carried a Confederate flag into the Capitol and jabbed a police officer with it.
