Delaware veterans will soon receive a larger state tax exemption on military pension income, with the benefit increasing from $12,500 to $25,000 over the next three years.

The Delaware Senate has approved SB 219, a bill that would gradually increase the state income tax exemption for military retirement income from $12,500 to $25,000 by 2029, and the measure now moves to the House of Representatives for consideration.
