For the second time, the referendum for the Cape Henlopen School District has failed at the ballot box.
After a failed referendum on March 26, Cape Henlopen School officials have scheduled a meeting Thursday, April 11 with a possible vote on a May referendum on the agenda.
At a recent school board meeting, the Cape Henlopen School District unanimously voted to hold a referendum that will ask tax payers to absorb the approximate $80 million to expand and cover expenses.
