House leaders are sending lawmakers home for the August recess after one of the rockiest sessions in recent memory to campaign for reelection. For those trying to stay in office, it's not always an easy sell. Voters will decide this fall which party to put in power in Congress for the remainder of President Donald Trump’s term in the White House. Republicans argue they should remain in power to deliver on Trump's priorities. Democrats say Trump and the Republicans in charge have done little to lower costs for Americans. Voters have will have to sort it all out and decide.
