* Special Marine Warning for...
Delaware Bay...
Coastal and outer waters from Great Egg Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island
DE...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 723 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 7 nm west of
Bowers Beach to 12 nm west of Slaughter Beach to 18 nm east of
Miles River, moving east at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Brown Shoal Light, Fenwick Island,
Buoy 4fb, Buoy 3fb, Slaughter Beach, Cape Henlopen, East Point,
Deepwater Reef, Miah Maull Light, Brandywine Shoal Light, Ocean
City Reef, Indian River Inlet Bridge, Overfalls Shoal, The Lump,
28-
Mile Wreck, Bethany Beach, Cross Ledge Light, and Fourteen Foot
Bank Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and
southern Delaware...southern New Jersey...and the adjacent coastal
waters.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN SUSSEX...KENT...TALBOT AND CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 718 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Dover Speedway to near Andrewsville to near
Oxford, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Dover, Easton, Milford, Denton, Harrington, Camden, Lewes,
Federalsburg, Milton, Bridgeville, Greensboro, Ridgely, Trappe, St.
Michaels, Preston, Oxford, Ellendale, Bowers, Queen Anne, and
Woodside.

People at the Delaware State Fair should seek safe shelter
immediately!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and
southern Delaware...and eastern and northeastern Maryland.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
