The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southern
Delaware.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Central Sussex County in southern Delaware...

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 653 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bridgeville,
or 8 miles northwest of Georgetown, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

* Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Seaford, Lewes, Milton, Bridgeville, Ellendale,
Henlopen Acres, Cape Henlopen State Park, Greenwood, and Dewey
Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and
southern Delaware.

FOR NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX AND SOUTH CENTRAL KENT COUNTIES...

At 655 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bridgeville, or
13 miles west of Georgetown, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Milford, Bridgeville, Ellendale, Andrewsville, Greenwood, and
Farmington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and
southern Delaware...and eastern Maryland.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

DE...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 630 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 18 nm
northwest of Buoy Ge to 6 nm west of Sea Isle City to near Cape
Henlopen, moving east at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large
hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could
result in structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
Atlantic City, Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Brown Shoal Light, Buoy
4fb, Ship Bottom, Buoy 3fb, Cape Henlopen, Deepwater Reef, Garden

Inlet Bridge, Overfalls Shoal, The Lump, North Beach Haven, 28-
