CoastLife sits down with Betsy Fleetwood, volunteer and Vice President of the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations (LRAC), to preview the highly anticipated New Life Thrift Shop Halloween Extravaganza. Beginning September 28 at 8 a.m. and continuing through October 31, the shop will be stocked with costumes, decorations, fall finds, and more—with new items hitting the shelves throughout the event. But every bargain has an even bigger purpose. Betsy explains how New Life Thrift Shop serves as a major source of funding for LRAC, helping provide grants to local organizations addressing food insecurity and housing challenges throughout Sussex County.
