This season, Delmar Field Hockey is in the hunt for their ninth straight DIAA State Championship and seventh straight since the state divided into divisions, moving the wildcats to DII. Expectations for high for Delmar during the 2024 season, as the program is currently tied for third in the nation for most consecutive state trophies.
Coach Jodi Hollamon has lead Delmar to 12 State Finals in 16 seasons.
Last season, the squad had a 17-2 record and graduated 6 athletes. During the 2024 season, Hollamon is hoping for Seniors such as Laylah Brown and Jordyn Hollamon to step up and fill those gaps, along with Sophomore Goalkeeper Marleigh Wells to make crucial saves in the cage.
