(GEORGETOWN, Del.) - A former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader was back in Sussex County court Wednesday for a hearing in regards to charges that she allegedly had sexual relations with a minor.
Molly Shattuck was back in the Superior Court of Delaware this morning -- though she didn't face a judge.
Her lawyer, Eugene Mauer, says this morning's hearing was one of two case reviews scheduled before a trial is able to move forward.
It was also an opportunity for Shattuck and her lawyer to hash out a plea deal -- which didn't happen.
Shattuck entered a not-guilty plea after she was indicted back in November on charges of third degree rape, second-degree unlawful sexual contact and obtaining alcohol for a minor.
The incident allegedly happened at a home in Bethany Beach. Police documents say, Labor Day weekend Shattuck rented a beach home for her son and friends -- one being a 15-year-old boy who Shattuck allegedly had sex with several times before.
Police documents also say Shattuck initiated the sexual contact.
The victim says they did not have sexual intercourse that weekend in Delaware.
Shattuck's lawyer says this is a trying time for his client.
When asked about his client's state of mind, Mauer says she's "obviously very upset. This is very difficult for her and that's it."
Shattuck is scheduled to appear back in court on March 18th. Her lawyer says a trial date has been set for March 23rd.
