Unique Creations to See at Sunfest

(WORCESTER COUNTY, Md.) - Sun Fest is back in Ocean City. Friends Joanne Hamilton and Sharon Dysland come every year.

"It's a beautiful beautiful day so it's the perfect place to be," Hamilton tells WRDE.

"I'm here to shop. And spend money. That I don't have, but I'm gonna spend it," says Dysland.

Vendors are a big part of this event. Nicole Drake is here with her business Lais Dilan, selling unique jewelry.

"This is our 7th year here at Sunfest," says Drake, who explains how she makes her creations.

Listening to musicians perform is another part of Sunfest. Food is also a highlight.

Amy Yule is here selling treats called Pecan Yummies.

"My son when about nine years old when he tried something like this and said "mommy can you do this yourself," And I said let me try," Yule says. "Now he's 45 years old and I'm still making Pecan Yummies for him and other people as well."

Today is just the beginning. Sunfest runs through Sunday. Admission is free. Sunfest is open from 10am-10pm Thursday-Saturday, and from 10am-6pm on Sunday.
