UPDATE: Man Found Dead in Dover at Port Mahon Pier

(DOVER, Del.)- Delaware State Police Homicide Unit detectives continue their investigation into the death of a 24-year-old Dover man, which has now been ruled a homicide.

The body of Dontray Hendricks, 24, of Dover, who had been found deceased on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Port Mahon Pier, Dover, had been turned over to the Division of Forensic Sciences where an autopsy determined that his manner of death was a homicide caused by being shot.

This investigation is active and ongoing as the Homicide Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. Specific details of the homicide are not being released at this time as to not jeopardize the case.
