(MILLSBORO, Del.) - Tuesday night, more anger was directed at Mountaire Farms, who many blame for causing water contamination in Millsboro, outside of the town limits.
DNREC had a public meeting as Mountaire applied for a permit to store wastewater treatment plant sludge on its complex.
Mountaire has even applied an emergency petition to get the permit passed and residents had harsh words for DNREC for not being tough enough on the chicken company.
There will be another town hall on February 12th, with a law firm who currently represent Millsboro residents regarding the Mountaire situation.
