Cape To Begin Virtual Learning

LEWES, Del- Students in the Cape Henlopen School District will resume studies at home while the schools themselves remain closed under Delaware's State of Emergency. The district announced on Friday that Virtual Vikings is expected to begin on Monday April 6, 2020. Last week, the school district conducted a survey of student households. 70% responded and Cape said most of those have internet/wifi access and a device to use while at home for remote learning. The district said it is working with families that need access and/or a device. In addition, they will continue attempts to contact the 30% who did not respond to the survey. "Over the next few days we will be finalizing our remote learning plans,"  Superintendent Robert Fulton said in a letter and e-mail to the households of students. "Teachers will be connecting with families/students during the week of March 30 to share additional details."
