Kathy Jennings

Kathy Jennings is running for reelection as the state’s attorney general after serving in the role since 2019. Jennings, a Wilmington native, also has years of experience as a prosecutor in cases involving sexual assaults, domestic violence and homicides. She previously served as the State Prosecutor, overseeing all criminal prosecutions in the state. In her first term as attorney general, she secured an 85% conviction rate for gun offenders. She also focused on getting life sentences for pedophiles and strengthening laws against online predators.
