(Cambridge, Md) - Dorchester County's School Superintendent has announced his plans to retire at the end of the 2016 2017 school year. Dr. Henry Wagner Jr. made the announcement on Thursday to the board of education. He has been Superintendent for more than ten years. In his letter he pointed to achievement, scholarship and graduation rates increasing to historic levels.
The school board will now begin the search for their next Superintendent.
