Dover Murder Suspect Saleem Shabazz Extradited Back to Delaware

(DOVER, Del.)- The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit continues to investigate a Dover area home invasion where three people were shot and two killed, which occurred on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Rodney Village.

Saleem Shabazz was extradited from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to Delaware, today November 3, 2015 at approximately 10:30 a.m.. State Detectives from the Department of Justice Extradition Unit transported Shabazz to Troop 2.

Shabazz was processed and arraigned for Murder 1st, Two Counts of Attempted Robbery, Assault 1st, Six Counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Two Counts of Burglary 1st, Conspiracy 1st, and Conspiracy 2nd, at the Justice of the Peace Court 2 via videophone. Shabazz was ordered held without bond and transported to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
