(Georgetown, Del) - A Lincoln man is being held on DUI and Drug charges after he was stopped for traffic violations Saturday, June 3, 2017. Georgetown Police were dispatch to Route 113 for a person driving erratically. They stopped the vehicle and detected the odor alcohol. The driver could not complete the field sobriety test, due to intoxication. While trying to take the man, identified as Donald Hester, he resisted arrest and damaged a patrol car.
Once in custody, police found 48 bags of suspected heroin, as well as cocaine. He was charged with DUI, Resisting Arrest, Two Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and motor vehicle violations. Hester was committed to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $5000.00 bond.
