(Townsend, Del) - Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash which in New Castle County Monday afternoon. The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Route 13 at Fieldsboro Road in Townsend. A man was killed in the crash, his name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin. A second person was injured in the crash, though the injures do not appear to be life threatening. The northbound lanes of Route 13 are currently closed.
