REHOBOTH THEN AND NOW TOUR

If you're looking for an engaging way to delve into the past and present of Rehoboth Beach, the 'Rehoboth Then and Now Tour' is a must-try. Available on the Built Story app for both iOS and Android users, this tour promises to be a captivating journey through time. Rehoboth Beach Main Street says you can stop at about 15 locations for lessons like 19th century Rehoboth as a religious summer camp, and how fires, storms and even a railroad shaped the city.

CRAFT YOUR OWN SEA GLASS JEWELRY

For those with a creative flair, the Delaware Seashore State Park has a crafting event you won't want to miss. Head to the Indian River Lifesaving Station from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on January 6 to create your very own sea glass jewelry. Whether you have your own sea glass to transform into a pendant or need to choose from a collection provided by organizers, this event offers a chance to craft unique and beautiful jewelry. Don't forget to register ahead of time to secure your spot. The cost is 20 dollars per person. The park says online registration ends 24 hours before the program. FEEL GOOD FRIDAY

Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! The Millville Volunteer Fire Company is hosting an Outdoorsman Marketplace from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday at Station 1 on Atlantic Avenue. Explore a wide range of vendors offering fishing and hunting supplies, outdoor gear, and more. There is a 5 dollar admission fee. This event benefits the Millville Volunteer Fire Company.

STUFFED ANIMAL BUILDING

Kids up to 12 years old can unleash their creativity at the Milford Public Children's Library on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event allows young participants to build their dream pet, a Siberian Husky stuffed animal, without the responsibilities of owning a real one. All materials will be provided, making it a hassle-free and free event for kids. Pre-register for the free event at delawarelibraries.libcal.com.

SCOTERS AND SEALS CRUISE

Delmarva Birding Weekends offers an extraordinary opportunity to witness seals up close with their "Scoters & Seals" cruise. Taking place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, the two-hour cruise explores the mouth of the Delaware Bay. Organizers say they have timed the boat trip with low tide to maximize your chances of spotting seals in their natural habitat. While this event may currently be on a waitlist, you can still email dmvbirds@gmail.com with your name and the number of participants in your party in case spots open up.

The "Prime Hook to Fowler Beach field trip that was planned for Saturday has been postponed to Sunday, Jan. 7, from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m. Registration is open for other birding events on delmarvabirding.com.
