DELAWARE/MARYLAND- This weekend finish holiday shopping, give back to our country's heroes, and save big with deals and discounts.
In Rehoboth Beach, the tackier the better! Sunday, anyone who walks into Big Fish Grill with an ugly Christmas sweater, gets 20 percent off their meal. The restaurant had to cancel its normal Christmas celebrations, but still wanted to bring holiday cheer to your lunch and dinner. Bringing you cheer and discounts, this promotion is mutually beneficial.
"Right now times are hard and everyone is sort of struggling. So to give us the support, or anyone else, is really important to keep Rehoboth up and coming," said Linnea Cross with Big Fish Grill.
Saturday, honor those who fought for our country at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro. Starting at 10:30 you can volunteer with Wreaths Across America to place a wreath on each veterans grave. Invite friends and family to help make sure every veteran gets a wreath.
Saturday is the final Holiday Open House at Salvaged in Lewes. It's your last chance to stock up on home goods, gifts, and stocking stuffers at a discounted price. If you aren't sure exactly what to get that special someone, the store is also having a promotion on gift-cards. Support two local businesses at once, and grab a hot chocolate or warm cider from Hitched Mobile Pub, while shopping.
Friday night until 8 enjoy retail therapy in Salisbury. The monthly Third Friday festivities kick off at 5. Events are happening in person and online. Browse local stores, or head over to the Third Friday Facebook page for virtual shopping and performances.
