SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.- Holiday festivities are happening all across Delmarva! There is something to do every day this weekend.
Milford is giving Small Business Saturday a take two. After the first attempt was cut short due to a power outage, the town is trying again this Saturday. Stores are offering deals and discounts to help you finish holiday shopping. You don't have to limit the fun to one day. Santa will be there all weekend collecting lists. Friday from 5 to 8 is the Milford Holiday Market.
Bethany Beach is also giving you a reason to get out your wallet. This Saturday is the first of three consecutive Saturdays, where the town is hosting the Shop Local Extravaganza. Participating stores can be found in Bethany Beach, South Bethany, Millville, Selbyville, and more. Browsing stores and shopping sales can also make you a big winner. Every purchase over 20 dollars gets you automatically entered in a drawing to win a gift card to that specific store. Your name will also be entered in the grand prize drawing to win one of three, 500 dollar gift cards.
Things are lighting up in Lewes! Friday night kicks off the Lewes Lights opening ceremony. Santa will be there to count down simultaneously turning on the lights. Use the map to guide your way to view all the light displays. You have all December to view the homes. Winners for the most extravagant, spirited homes will be announced December 31.
Millsboro is one of the few places still hosting a Christmas parade. The parade kicks off at 5 with the tree lighting ceremony to follow.
