(FRANKFORD, Del.)- A fire leaves a Sussex County family out in the cold without a home just a week before Thanksgiving.
Photos taken by the Bethany Beach Fire Company show crews working to extinguish a house fire on Mimosa Street in Frankford. Station 70 was alerted to assist Millville Station 84 with the working structure fire in Shady Dale Park.
Inside were five people who fire officials say got out safely, fire officials said. The call came in early Saturday morning around 2:08 a.m.
The Red Cross has stepped in to assist the family.
